Getting Started with Booost your day

What is Booost your day?

Booost your day helps you plan your time in a balanced and intentional way by supporting both your productivity and your recharge time.

You can look at the events already in your calendar and identify gaps in your schedule. In those gaps, you can choose to spend time either:

  • Focus on Tasks
  • Recharge

Focus on Tasks

When focusing on tasks, you can click on the event in the Calendar view and Booost will suggest tasks based on due date and priority.

Just click on the Tick Icon to set "Recharge" for the block of time in question.

This can help you:

  • decide what to work on next
  • break work into manageable chunks
  • structure your day more effectively

These resources are designed to help you get started, prioritise tasks, and manage your workload more effectively.


Recharge

When using Recharge, you can click on the event in the Calendar view and Booost will suggest checklist items designed to support rest, reset, and self-care.

Just click on the Lightning Bolt Icon to set "Recharge" for the block of time in question.

Recharge time is intended to help you intentionally pause and look after yourself throughout the day.

Most Productive times

When using Booost your day, setting your Most productive times can help you plan when to focus on tasks.

You can set these up in the Account view.

We recommend:

  • adding approximately three slots throughout the day
  • making each slot around 60–90 minutes long
  • choosing times that suit your natural working style

Consider whether you work best in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and how your schedule and existing commitments affect your energy and focus.

Booost your Day through the ‘Home’ view

To Booost your day through the ‘Home’ view:

  1. Open the Booost app or webapp.
  2. Click the house icon on the mobile app, or the spaceship icon in the web app to go to the ‘Home’ view.
  3. Scroll and click on ‘Booost your day’.
  4. Choose a time slot:
  • Click the tick icon to Focus on Task
  • Click the recharge icon to Recharge
  1. Repeat step 4 for however many Focus events you would like to add.
  2. Click ‘Done’.

Booost your day through the ‘Calendar’ view

  1. Open the Booost app or webapp.
  2. Click ‘Calendar’, or the calendar icon.
  3. Click on ‘Booost your day’, or the Booost you Day spaceship icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  4. Choose a time slot:
  • Click the tick icon to Focus on Tasks
  • Click the recharge icon to Recharge
  1. Repeat step 4 for however many Focus events you would like to add.
  2. Click ‘Done’.
