Getting Started with Booost your day

What is Booost your day?

Booost your day provides support in prioritising your tasks and your wellbeing in a balanced way. You can look at the events you have to attend and see gaps in your schedule. In these gaps you can choose to spend 30 minutes to either:

Focus on Tasks

  • When focussing on tasks, you can click on the event in the ‘Calendar’ view, and Booost will show you a list of your tasks in order of due date and priority. This can help with deciding a task to tackle next, and with time management by breaking your schedule into blocks.

Focus on Wellbeing

  • When focussing on wellbeing, you can click on the event in the ‘Calendar’ view, and Booost will suggest checklist items to support you in taking time to look after yourself.

Most Productive times

When using Booost your day, setting ‘Most productive times’ can help you plan when to Focus on Tasks. You can set up your Most productive times in the ‘Account’ view, we recommend you add:

  • Approximately three slots throughout the day
  • Each slot to last 60 to 90 minutes
  • At times which suit you

Consider if you work best in the morning or evening or around other events in your calendar, and choose a time that is best for you.

Booost your Day through the ‘Home’ view

To Booost your day through the ‘Home’ view:

  1. Open the Booost app or webapp.
  2. Click the house icon on the mobile app, or the spaceship icon in the web app to go to the ‘Home’ view.
  3. Scroll and click on ‘Booost your day’.
  4. Choose a time slot:
  • Click on the tick box icon to Focus on Tasks.
  • Click on the heart icon to Focus on Wellbeing.
  1. Repeat step 4 for however many Focus events you would like to add.
  2. Click ‘Done’.

Booost your day through the ‘Calendar’ view

  1. Open the Booost app or webapp.
  2. Click ‘Calendar’, or the calendar icon.
  3. Click on ‘Booost your day’, or the Booost you Day spaceship icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  4. Choose a time slot:
  • Click on the tick box icon to Focus on Tasks.
  • Click on the heart icon to Focus on Wellbeing.
  1. Repeat step 4 for however many Focus events you would like to add.
  2. Click ‘Done’.
