Connect an iCloud calendar

You can connect an iCloud calendar to Booost so its events appear alongside everything else. You'll need to share the calendar publicly in iCloud first, then paste the link it gives you into Booost.

Get your calendar link on your phone or tablet

  1. Open the Calendar app, signed in with the Apple Account the calendar belongs to.
  2. Select 'Calendars' at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Find your calendar under 'iCloud' and select the 'i' beside it.
  4. Turn on 'Public Calendar'.
  5. Select 'Share Link', then 'Copy'.

Get your calendar link on a computer

  1. Go to iCloud.com and sign in with the Apple Account the calendar belongs to.
  2. Open Calendar.
  3. Find your calendar in the left-hand list and select the person icon beside it.
  4. Turn on 'Public Calendar'.
  5. Select the copy button to copy the link.

Sharing publicly creates a link that works for anyone who has it, so don't share it.

If your calendar isn't listed under 'iCloud'

Only calendars stored in iCloud can be shared. If yours sits under 'On My iPhone' or a different account, it won't have the sharing option – you'd need to move or recreate it in iCloud first.

Connect it to Booost

  1. Select 'Account' (the person icon) on the navigation bar. On web: 'Account' is at the bottom of the left-hand panel.
  2. Select 'Connected calendars'.
  3. Select 'Add calendar'.
  4. Paste in the link you copied.
  5. Select 'Next'.
  6. Give your calendar a name. This is how you'll recognise it in your list of connected calendars.
  7. Select 'Connect to calendar'.

Booost confirms once your calendar is connected.

Booost brings in the next 90 days of events and checks for changes every 24 hours. If you can't see events further ahead than that, your calendar is connected correctly – those events will appear as the dates come closer.

If your events haven't appeared yet, see Events not showing.
