What do I do if my connected calendar isn't syncing?
Help! What do I do if my calendar isn't syncing?
If your calendar isn't syncing with Booost, there are a few common causes. The good news is that most calendar issues can be resolved quickly once the cause has been identified.
Why might my calendar not be syncing?
1. Your calendar permissions have changed
If you've recently changed your password, updated your account security settings, or modified permissions within your calendar provider (Google, Outlook, Apple, etc.), Booost may no longer have access to your calendar data.
In this case, disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar may resolve the issue.
2. Something went wrong during the connection process
Sometimes a calendar connection can fail if you attempt to connect a calendar on top of an existing connection.
For Google Calendar users, this can result in a 409 error.

3. Not enough permissions were granted
If Booost wasn't given sufficient permissions during the connection process, or if an external calendar (ICS) link was generated with restricted access, calendar data may not sync correctly.
For Google Calendar users, this can result in a 422 error.
π See: Fixing a 422 Error When Connecting Your Google Calendar
If you're using an external calendar link (ICS), please ensure you've followed the setup instructions correctly:

What can I do if my events aren't appearing?
If your calendar has connected successfully but your events aren't appearing yet, don't worry. Calendar syncing can sometimes take up to 24 hours due to factors outside of Booost's control.
If you'd like to trigger a sync manually, you can do so by navigating to:
Account β Connected Calendars β Select your calendar β Resync
This will request an immediate refresh of your calendar data rather than waiting for the next automatic sync cycle.

Still having issues?

- Which calendar provider you're using (Google, Outlook, Apple, etc.)
- Whether you're seeing an error message or error code
- Whether the calendar appears under Account β Connected Calendars
