Your home screen

Your home screen is the first thing you see when you open Booost. It's today at a glance: what's coming up, what to start on, and where you are in the day.

What's on your home screen

A greeting. Booost says hello using your display name.

What's coming up. Your next event, with its start and end time. It also tells you how near it is, so you can see where you are in your day without working it out. You might see 'Starting in 8 mins', or 'Right now' once it's under way. If nothing's scheduled, Booost lets you know your calendar's clear.

Top priority task. The task to start with, showing its due date. If the task has a checklist, you'll also see how many steps you've done and the next one to tackle. Select 'See next priority task' to see the one after it, and 'Back to top priority task' to come back. Booost shows you these two, so you can choose between them without working through your whole list.

[Reflect]. A quick check-in on how your day went.

[Look back]. A view of how your previous days have gone.

Finding your way around

The navigation bar sits along the bottom of the screen. From left to right:

  • Home (the sun icon) – this screen
  • [Calendar]
  • [ Quick Add] (the + button) – for adding an event or task quickly
  • [Tasks]
  • [Account] – your settings and preferences

On web

Everything above works the same way, but navigation lives in the left-hand panel instead:

  • Quick Add – the '+ Add' button at the top, for adding an event or task
  • Home, Calendar, Tasks, Reflect, Look back
  • Account – at the bottom

Because Reflect and Look back sit in the panel, they're always within reach rather than appearing on the home screen itself.

To give yourself more room, select 'Collapse' at the bottom of the panel. It becomes 'Expand' when you want the panel back.

'Hi [name]' uses your display name. To change it, see [Change your display name].
