Your tasks

Your tasks

Tasks are the things you need to get done – an essay, a reading list, an email that needs a reply. Unlike events, they don't have a slot in your day; they have a due date, and you fit them in when you can.

Where your tasks live

Select the tick icon on the navigation bar to see your full list. On web: select 'Tasks' in the left-hand panel.

Your home screen shows just one to start with – your top priority task, with the option to see the next one. That's there so you don't have to face the whole list when you're deciding what to do. See Your top priority task for how Booost chooses.

What's on a task card

Each task shows its title, its due date and its importance.

Expand the card and you'll see the next thing on its checklist – not the whole list, just wherever you're up to. If the task doesn't have a checklist yet, you can add one from here. It means you can pick up where you left off without opening anything.

Select a task to open it and change anything. See Edit an event or task.

You can also let someone know you're starting something. See Reach Out.

To sort your list, set importance or tick things off, see Manage your tasks.

New to tasks? See Add a task to add your first one.
