Edit an event or task

Anything you've added can be changed later. Open it, change what you need to, and save.

  1. Open your event or task.
    • Events are in your calendar, and your next one is on your home screen.
    • Tasks are in Tasks, and your priority task is on your home screen.
  2. Select whatever you'd like to change.
  3. Select 'Save'.

Change the details

Both events and tasks have:

  • Title – select it and type
  • Reminders – see Set reminders for events and tasks
  • Checklist – steps to work through, on the 'Checklist' tab
  • Notes – anything you want to hand, on the 'Notes' tab

Events also have:

Tasks also have:

  • Due date and Due time
  • Importance – 'Must do', 'Will do' or 'Might do'. This affects where your task appears in your list. See Your top priority task

Make it easier to spot

Give an event or task a colour and an icon and you'll recognise it in your calendar without reading it.

  • Colour – select 'Colour' and choose one
  • Icon – select the icon in the top right, choose one, then select 'Done'

Colour-coding by subject, by type of work, or by anything that makes sense to you can make a full week much quicker to read at a glance.

Events from a connected calendar

Once an event from a connected calendar is in Booost, you can change its title, date, time and location here, just like any other event. You can also add a checklist to it.

The colour and icon come from the calendar it belongs to. To change them:

  1. Select 'Account' (the person icon) on the navigation bar. On web: 'Account' is at the bottom of the left-hand panel.
  2. Select 'Connected calendars'.
  3. Select the calendar.

See Manage your connected calendarsfor more.

Duplicate or delete

  1. Open your event or task.
  2. Select the three dots in the top right.
  3. Select 'Duplicate' or 'Delete'.

Duplicating copies everything across, including any checklist and notes, and opens the copy so you can change what you need to.
