Getting Started with Support

Support

‘Support’ provides materials to support you throughout your day across your events and tasks. From ‘Learner resources’ to features to promote and support reflection or Reach out to your support systems when things are tough.

Learner resources

‘Learner resources’ are a range of guides, videos, and toolkits written by specialists to help you build new skills and strategies and get advice when you need it.

You can access ‘Learner Resources’ through the ‘Need some help?’ suggested content at the bottom of ‘Events’ or ‘Tasks’, or by using the ‘Learner Resources’ button in the ‘Support’ or ‘Home’ view.

Reach Out

In the Booost app, Reach out provides a quick way to contact one or more people in your support system when you need support. Once you have set up your contact list and message in the Reach out settings, Reach out to have your message and chosen contacts automatically filled into an SMS, RCS, or iMessage.

Emergency contacts

‘Emergency contacts’ gives you access to a list of free and confidential crisis and advice services available to you if you need them. You can choose where you are located across the UK, Ireland, the US, and Canada to see services available in your region.

Reflect on your day

Reflect on your day allows you to track how you feel throughout the week with mood icons and notes, see your number of completed tasks, and work out where extra support or strategies could be helpful.

Look back

‘Look back’ can be used to view your ‘Reflect on your day’ entries to see how your mood icons, notes, and number of completed tasks change over time. You can review your reflections from the past seven days or load more to view entries before this.

Learner Resources

Each guide has the option to listen aloud and a summary, with the content broken down into subheadings or steps. You can filter the content by using the search bar, looking at content tagged ‘Quick read’ or ‘Video’, or by category or topic.
